Buy the complete workflow, not the most impressive isolated component. Missing adapters, seals, power requirements and cleaning access are part of the real price.

Start with exact identification

Record manufacturer, model, serial or revision number, voltage and every marking on the failed part. Search the manual or parts diagram when available.

Measure the interface

For gaskets and seals, measure internal diameter, external diameter and cross-section. For fittings, identify thread type and size. For electrical parts, match voltage, wattage, connector and sensor type.

Compare original, compatible and generic parts

Original parts reduce uncertainty. Reputable compatible parts can be economical. Generic parts require more verification and should never be used beyond the equipment’s documented ratings.

Use sold listings to understand scarcity

A discontinued part with frequent completed sales may be easy to support. A system with no replacement inventory may be risky even when the initial equipment price is low.
